Glad you hear from you Mark. I too hope we can do some events together, I still am planning on maybe joining the Krawler but I don't need another window banner so when you get the fender decals let me know. Vic

Hi Vic,
Not sure if Mark will get notification of your posting. You may want to email him if you havn't heard back in a while. I got an email about a reply but thought it might be because I was the originator?
I bought a 79 CJ5 sunday to play with. It needs a little work before I wheel it but it has been fun so far. Besides it has no top and being below freezing all the time, wheeling right now is a little on the chilly side.

No I got no notification. But anyways good to hear from you It was good to see you at the Briggs fiasco. The Flatlander did a great job as useual dispite the fact it was poorly organized by the Briggs people.
Anyway our round fender stickers are done I just need to pick them up. Are the 4X4 Fest forms available on line? I know there are several from TK that want to come. It was going to be a tossup since your event useually coincides with SWFWDA which is going to be in Kansas this year.
Well keep in touch.
Mark

Hi Mark, As you know we have been hearing for years that the 4x4Fest falls on one of the busiest weekends of the year. There are several activities, swap meets, quarterlies etc. that always fall on that weekend. So we voted to move it to June 5th. A lot of discussion went into this decision regarding other activities, events and graduations etc. We found this to be the closest thing to perfect weekend. You can find flyers at www.expertoffroad.com/flatlanders.htm under events then under June 5th. Thanks and talk to you soon! PS click the "Check this if you wish to be notified of replies to this topic." to get notified. It is there for me and should be available to everyone.

You might want to make those more easily accessable. That would be kind of hard to find with out asking around. Just my $.02 wish more of your members would use your website. and board it has been really popular with our club. Now we just need to get our membership #'s up.

Glad to hear that some of the TK's wish to attend. We also need to work on membership, just what is the member count in the TK's. I think Greg has done an outstanding job with the our site but like you said more people need to use it.

I think we are about to 30. But I think we have lost a few this year. We have a run planned in Disney in March I hope I get to attend but right now it isn't looking like I will:( I need a tow rig and $$$ I would also like to attend the SWFWDA summer quarterly in Dighton be I don't know about that one either. I do know I will attend the 4X4 Fest as long as the heap it running. How did the run as Kansas Rocks go?That place looks like a blast!

Hey All - - -Just wanted to post a little note to let everyone know that the Flatlanders Jeep Club has changed their name to Flint Hills Jeep Club. Web address has also changed to www.flinthillsjeepclub.com, but the old address still works.

Good to hear the club is still ticken along. I still have the rubi and have started on another project, 53 Willys Overland with a Scout chassis. Its taken alot of my time. Hope to see some guys this summer at Tuttle creek. We stayed below the dam last summer and drove up to the dirt trail. Thats a pretty good jog. Think next time we will park the RV at the north end.
